Natural Ways to Keep Your Dog Free from Fleas, Ear Mites, and Ticks

When fleas strike

Ear mites
These are generally a form of mild parasitic infection. It can occur at any age and is known for being highly contagious. These mites can also spread to the other parts of the body. Some of the common types of symptoms include itching, excessive scratching, frequent shaking of the head, and thick red-brown or black crusts. Confirm with your vet first and then try this simple and effective household remedy. Dissolve one teaspoon of baking soda in one cup of warm water. Soak a cotton ball in this mixture and rub clean the pet’s ears with it every day until your pet stops scratching.
You also need to make sure that their beds and blankets are free from fleas and mites to keep them healthy. You can use the solutions mentioned above to wipe clean their bedding or invest in pet beds made with 100% copper.
