Dog of the Month: Beanz

Bio:

Three-year-old Beanz, the mostly Boston Terrier, had a rough first year and a half of his life. As a puppy, he was in and out of three homes, the pound, and rescued by animal control, because he was neglected and at a weight of 15 pounds . His permanent family discovered him while they were looking for a dog at the Friends of Linden Animal Shelter in Linden, NJ. After Beanz came for a home visit at Di Francesco’s they knew he would be a wonderful addition to their family.

Beanz is now at a healthy weight, most of his hair has grown back in, and he knows many obedience commands. Sometimes his curiosity gets the best of him but he is always ready to please his friends and family. Not a day goes by where he doesn’t show his appreciation for his family. His is a very smart boy that understands how lucky he is and that his family loves him just as much as he loves them.
