Summer Recipe of the Month: Pupsicles

Try this refreshing summer recipe of the month: the pupsicle.

We love a cold, refreshing, fruity popsicle on a hot summer day, so why not make one for your dog to enjoy as well.

Be sure to reference Dog Friendly Fruits when choosing which fruits to use for your summer pusicles.

How to make pupsicles:

Cut up fruits or vegetables into very small chunks so they will fit in an ice cube tray. You can also put them in a blender to be finely chopped. Add the chopped fruits and/or veggies to the ice cube trays with a splash of water to hold the ingredients together. Freeze overnight.

A popular summer pupsicle recipe favorite is the carrot and banana pop. Chop up half a banana and 5 carrots to yield about 30 pupsicle cubes.
